What You Need:

(2) Two passport-size photos for each person

Immigration will only accept cashier checks from the bank, debit card, or credit card. Fees are paid to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security

Birth Certificate of the Beneficiary and the Petitioner

Marriage Certificate of the Beneficiary

Divorce certificate, if applicable

Copy of your Visa, Passport, or Permit

Bona fides of relationship- to establish marriage, this could be

  • Utility bills under both names (phone, gas, electric, insurance, water bill, etc)
  • Mortgage documents or rental agreements with both names
  • Bank statements with an account under both names
  • Family Photos of the Beneficiary and the Petitioner

    Disposition and sentence of any criminal record, if applicable

    Petitioner/Sponsor

    • Copy of complete taxes for the last three years
    • Copy of w-2s/1099s for the most recent year
    • If you are a resident: Copy of your residence card (copy of the front and back of the card)
    • Copy of driver's license
    • Copy of the last three most recent pay stubs
    • Verification letter from employer: (How much are you paid? How long have you been employed? How many hours do you work per week?)

    If a Co-Sponsor is Needed

    • For a sponsor to qualify they must meet the requirements per USCIS based on their current federal tax-return-AG
    • If citizen: copy of a birth certificate or naturalization certificate
    • If LPR: copy of the green card (front and back)
    • Copy of driver's license
    • Copy of last three (3) years federal tax returns with current W2/1099
    • Last three (3) paystubs or letter from employer verifying employment
